Julius Maasberg was born in Saarmund, Germany, on April 12, 1873. He was Stabstrompeter with Field Artillery Regiment Nr. 72 in Marienweider and director of the Prussian Life Guard Regiment of Hussars in Potsdam (1919-?). He died on March 2, 1949, in Potsdam.
